Bell Sleeve Beauty

Bell sleeves have been a trend that have come and gone almost every ten to fifteen years. I remember being in grade school and bell sleeve tops being the trend you wanted to wear.

The nineties are back and certain trends have come back with a vengeance. Trends like crop tops, chokers, slip dresses, and off the shoulder styles only name a few of the styles we are seeing today. Even the ultimate 90’s girl piece, the Steve Madden clog, was re-released with sleeker lines. We are reliving the nineties in fashion whether we are aware or not.

But there is something very polished about all the details we are seeing in fashion today. Tops and dresses especially are seeing a wave of individual features like ruffles, embroidery, cutouts, and much more.

Most of the trends that have come back I am all for, including the bell sleeve. The bell sleeve adds a fun detail to an otherwise simple outfit. These are tops you can wear to work or wear out day-to-day. I know I’ll be reaching for these tops this fall much more than I expect.

What trends have you found yourself drawn to this season? Let me know in the comments!

Thanks for this! I don’t keep up with fashion trends but it’s nice to know bell sleeves are back! Hope some gals held on to those from back in the day…if in good condition they’d be considered vintage!
