Sacred Stripes Review
Once in a while, you come across a brand that gives back to a cause you are passionate about. For myself, animals hold a special place in my life. My husband and I adopted our dog from a local shelter we give to regularly and donate a lot to other animals and foundations in need. Sacred Stripes is a company founded on these principles.
Sacred Stripes was founded by Tiger Borgia, who began the company as a fundraiser to help the Tiger Missing Link Foundation. With only 3,000 tigers left in the wild, Tiger was inspired by the need to do more. Sacred Stripes began as a small project, and launched into a thriving business.
The Tiger Missing Link Foundation was established in 1995. The mission of this foundation is to provide financial aid and leadership towards the conservation of tigers. What makes Sacred Stripes different? 10% of profits are donated to the foundation. You can learn more about the Tiger Missing Link Foundation here.
Now onto the products! Sacred Stripes offers not only T-shirts, but bracelets and branded stickers as well. The bracelet is personally next on my list. I recently received the Simple Lilac Tee through an Instagram giveaway, and I am absolutely a fan.
The color is vibrant, the material is soft, and the branding and logo placement is similar to Vineyard Vines. It is a small company, so they don’t offer a large selection, however they are constantly updating with new products. For example, the month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and they added a shirt for this cause.
There is something to be said for clothing that gives back. We live in a society that focuses on fast fashion and trends more and more everyday. However, when brands make a conscious effort to give back, it is something I gravitate towards. Giving back and small businesses are more of what we need today, and Sacred Stripes offers both!
