Christmas Wreath DIY

Every year I make our wreath with live greens, I’m never able to find a fake one I really like and that doesn’t change shape as it hangs. This project costs less than ten dollars!

What you will need:

  • Live wreath
  • Big red bow or ribbon
  • Christmas ornaments
  • Pine cones
  • Glue gun

You can find a live wreath at home depot some even have the red bows attached. I buy my Christmas ornaments from the dollar store, and you can find pine cones at any craft store. And if you don’t have a glue gun, I bought mine off Amazon and it works great! I’ve linked it here.

First, heat up the hot glue gun. Second, place the red bow and glue down. Third, arrange and glue pine cones and Christmas ornaments on. And you are done! Seriously it’s that easy!

And for wreath maintenance, buy a small spray bottle from a dollar store or a TJ Maxx. Spray your wreath often to prevent drying out. Happy crafting!

Your wreath is so adorable and I love the idea, it’s just so festive and perfect for the holidays. My family never has gotten a real tree or wreath and I bet that it smells really good. This is so cute and I love how you decorated it. Looking forward to reading more Christmas and holiday related posts this month.

We have a fake tree too, but last year I got a live wreath and loved it! I recommend it for the perfect piney smell 😊🌲

That is so beautiful! I’ve never thought of a live wreath for some reason, but I bet it smells amazing!
